In the early evening Kärtsy takes me to his brother Late and we watch some of his hundreds of Waltari videos from the last 12 years: live recordings from live shows in Helsinki, New York and Uebach-Palenberg (near Aachen, my second Waltari show), the recording sessions for "So Fine!" in Kartsa the roadie´s house in the woods (Mansila farm), rehearsing "Yeah!Yeah!Die!Die!" with Riku Niemi and Avanti orchestra and other interesting stuff.

Around 9 pm we pick up Karla and go to Oopera cafe, the birthday party place. A lot of people, a lot of musicians off course, the Angelit girls, at least one guy from Apocalyptica, Mikka the Space Cowboy, Kartsa the Roadie, Suho Superstar and countless others are here.

Jimsonweed plays a short set, followed by Waltari (Lust Of Life, Days Of Distress, Dance Electric, Wasting My Mind...) and Amorphis (My Kantele, Better Unborn, Against Widows...). It starts to snow while they are playing.

Then Waltari plays again some cover songs, one "The Cult" song for Pekka, "A Forest" and "Running with the devil"...

Later Sami plays drums (is there anything he can´t play??) together with somebody else on guitar and another guy who sings James-Brown-like stuff, i don´t remember too much details, i´m just happy to see Waltari playing live in a very familiar atmosfear.

Everybody is enjyoing the party until 2 o´clock, the waitress shouts something like "last order" in finnish and groups of people start to leave the place to continue elsewhere.

I walk home through the snow after a great day.
