We get up very early in the morning, actually around 2 pm, have a little breakfast with sandwich, yogi tea and vanilla flavoured (!) "rice dream" for pekka to displace a possibly upcoming hangover.

Pekka has to work in the afternoon on a computer somewhere in Helsinki, on the way we pay a visit to "Boothill" Bar, Roope´s favourite place - unfortunately he´s on tour with sinergy and not at home.

Later i start walking through the city to visit some places i know from my last two visits and take some pictures.

When I was planning this Helsinki trip I decided to leave all zoom lenses at home and concentrate on a 50 mm, a 28 mm and a fisheye lens, combined with black/white material to catch the fading november light.

It´s getting dark between 4 pm and 5 pm already and I start to get an idea of how depressing a dark northern winter can be; this is the time of increasing suicide rates. To get out of this melancholic mood i step into "Zetor" Traktor Bar to have supper, traditional finnish food at reasonable prices in a nice atmosphere - some people call it a rather touristic place, but I recommend to build your own opinion. It was established and furnished by one guy from the Leningrad Cowboys...
