Saturday July 13, 22:30 The show begins. Waltari live at last! Meanwhile the rain stopped, i grab my camera and move in front of the stage. We hear a 2 hours selection of Waltari songs from "Torcha" to "Radium Round" - including a czech version of "Pala Leipää" and two new songs from "Demo 2001". The audience obviously likes the new material: "One day" with an guitar intro that reminds me of old "The Cult" songs, and my new favourite song "Wasting my mind". The atmosphere is way better than you would expect after this massive thunderstorm, only the sound has some difficulties, not enough power in the bass range.
Saturday July 13, 24:00 Both guest musicians Mika (drums) and Janne (keyboards) made a very good job. After a real good show and some encores, Waltari leave the stage, followed by a huge fireworks and a striptease special. We say good night after a long day and return to our hotel.
