Israeli lighting designer Bambi began his career in Europe by designing lighting systems for rock concerts. He has also been involved in designing TV programmes and stage and opera productions.

Bambi worked in Britain for several years; some of his work was for the BBC. Bambi has previously visited the Finnish National Opera designing lighting for dance works by Ohad Naharin. In the past season, Bambi designed the lighting for the Eurovision Song Contest in Jerusalem.
